[Process water saving] In order to reduce water consumption and reduce environmental load, Yea Shin will comprehensively simplify the wet process operation process in the wafer manufacturing process after evaluation by engineering personnel in 2021 and re-examine the rationality of water consumption in each operation to effectively reduce the wet process. Process water consumption is reduced by 45%, production time is reduced by 53.13%, waste water can be reduced by about 1.1 tons per day, and tap water usage can be reduced by about 400 tons per year.
[Recycling of cooling water] By checking the temperature of the machines, we can understand the water consumption of the machines with lower process cooling water heat consumption and recycle the cooling water, which can reduce the amount of waste water by about 30 CMD per day and reduce tap water use by about 10,950 tons per year.

[Cutting Water Recycling] Yea Shin will carry out a wafer-process waste water recycling project in 2021, which can save 13% of water costs a year. Through the water recovery system, the production water with a certain water quality in the production line is recycled and reused, mainly for the processes with large water consumption. By recycling the secondary water and reprocessing it, the company's overall internal water cycle can reach a certain standard. This reduces the supply of raw water and achieves the purpose of greatly reducing water resources. The pure water regeneration time can also be extended to prolong the regeneration time of the pure water system, which can reduce the number of regenerations and reduce the discharge of waste water.
